Ill make a list here plus add some twitters of writers working on getting space doggo adventures out. A handful of books are more "Uplifted" dogs vs "Out in Space" dogs but they are good stories too.
One really big one from comics: Cosmo via Nova DnA fame. Oh man. Love that doggo. Ein from Cowboy Bebop.
It's much easier to find mysteries or crime drama that contains a K-9 companion. But so far this is what I have found. Makes me realize why I have my own Space Doggo in my series. Its a subconscious need. Man's Best friend in space. Just Imagine. Love it all.

Plus it was fairly easy to find a fair amount of post apoc with man's best friend as a main contender. SO out of this 2hr journey, doggos and uplifted animals in general arent in sci fi as much as you'd think.
Yea, one thing is a game but its a fun game.
Biggest criteria was trying to find dogs as a main pov. Sure a cat or two made it in but its cause I do like the idea of animals that can talk back to us in sci fi or fantasy settings.
Plus this has made me aware that so much genres and categories are still underfed. Lots of readers out there that still want to find books. Hopefully this blog helps in some way. Now back to my own series. Pew pew isnt gonna write itself.
