The Uplift Protocol Saga
For 18 and up. Preferably. For Fantasy Violence, Cursing and Implied Adult situations. (Not on screen/fade to black).
DO NOT expect any of our world physics, mathematics, how space works or anything of a Hard Sci Fi nature within this series. I am pulp level. I love going to new worlds. Unusual combinations that wont work in our world science.

Just in case I need them.
Fianna,
ReplyDeleteI really enjoy reading your tweets about the Uplift protocol.
Nevertheless, I disagree with a tweet you posted about wives' taking or not taking the husband's name. My view is the wife keeps her original name and can add the de+husband's name if she wants.
I come from the civil law tradition and I find it simplifies the identity, responsibility and succession than common law.
Imagine a lawyer or notary having to cite John Smith when there are 10 000s of them but John Smith Cooper massively simplifies finding/citing people.

And that's fine. To me: the last name is pretty important, in terms of how a husband and wife form up to make themselves a team. Plus it does hold a bit of religious significance for me personally.
DeleteKeep up the great work, Fianna! I look forward to the day I buy this in hardcopy.
ReplyDeleteThanks! ^_^
