What draws me into scifi.

The big appeal of sci fi. For me at least.

• Exploring new worlds or old ones
• We are star stuff. Yes Babylon 5 forever! 
• How do the protagonists interact with their environment. That great cosmic playground. 
• Meeting new people. 
• Ships, firefights, dogfights, seeing what technology is capable of.
• The what if factor. 

Even if I don't have a super big understanding of the math that goes behind most hard sci fi, I still enjoy it because its teaching me something new.

Issac Arthur's channel is great for this and he recommends really good sci fi books too.

 

He explains things very clearly. Even some more complex ideas. It just makes me enjoy space and science even more.

A bit of everything. At one point Ill probably get into more serious topics later but for now Ill stick with more books to look at.
