Independents:

Anna Preston-McGuire:

Ex-wife of Thomas Murphy, currently re-married. But she never lets people forget she was a Preston woman first.

• Host of Into the Fire: Does the World Need Demis? 
• She does love her children but also tries to control them way too much. Mainly to take frustrations out on Eliza.
• She dislikes demis like the Mavericks because no one could really be that selfless. She makes pessimists look absolutely cheerful in comparison. 

Samantha Murphy:

• Born 2065
• In terms of looks, nearly the mirror image of her mother. But she has her father's brown eyes.
• Personality wise: complete 360. She is quiet while her mother dials everything to 11.
• When she hit 18 years old, she moved back in with her father to complete her degree, wanting to stay as far as she could from her mother's direct influence. Unlike Anna, she adores her little sister. While the initial divorce upset her, thinking she was to blame for her parents breakup, in the intervening years she has built up a rapport with her sister and Jennifer. While in college, she got to see another side to Thomas' 2nd wife that many never get to see.

Jacob Murphy:

• Born 2062
• Works at his uncle's Industrial Armored Vehicle Depot. While not directly a part of the Terran Alliance military, he is a civilian contractor in decent standing. Specializes in repairing scout ships for the Alliance Space Divisions.
• As much as his father loves the call of the stars, Jacob feels most comfortable with machinery. While he hasn't completely forgiven his father he buys model starship kits for his baby sister, Eliza, because Sam still gently prods her brother to interact with his family. 
• He wont admit this to anyone but he loves building these kits for his sister. Its something they can share since she loves to hear how his day went at work. In fact, he shares many key personality traits with his father. Not that he would ever admit it.
• Has mended his relationship with his father within the past 5 years. 
• Anna's behavior practically drove her son away even further than her daughter.
  

Eleanore Murphy:

• Born 1990
• 2nd Gen Prolong

Within the Murphy Household there is a wall of pictures. Old fashioned and holo-based. She collects various memories and stores them all along the family homestead like so many flowers.

Abraham Murphy:

• Born 1985
• 1st Gen Prolong

The Patriarch of the Murphy Family. Still cracks jokes that make his son and grandsons groan.

Agent Hilary Brookes:

• Redacted
• FBI attache attached to A51
• Believes that the Star-Spangled Banner is a threat to humankind. 
• Views all the "Shimmers" at Area 51 as enemies who want Earth for their own designs.
