The Jupiter Rising

For Privileged Eyes only: Ship Schematics and Additional Details Listed Below.

The Jupiter Rising is the first of its kind. Lighter and faster than a traditional Terran Cruiser. Built for speed and high gravity/inertia maneuvers. Can operate in atmo and vacuum.

The Command Deck:

Houses the main sensor suite and tactical layout of the vessel. Electronic warfare suites and countermeasures. The Foyer can hold 14 additional personnel if the situation requires it.

  • The captain may pilot the vessel from the command chair. Holo displays/controls make for ease of use. In the event of systems failure, this ship was equipped with an old style steering system similar in style to the holo show Captain Cosmos. It will activate, rising from the floor and ceiling when need arises.

While the main dials will function as a stopgap to total steering failure, it is advised that the crew activate backup systems ASAP.

Every deck has grav lifts to help transport crew and materials.
  • J'ino's Commentary: Yeah, you could have two metal rods taped together and she's still be able to fly that ship.
  • J'dax: Nothing like rooting for the home team.
  • Cooper: I remember the first time I delivered bacon to Bardax in that ship. What a ride that was.

The Crew Deck:

Forward and Aft of the Deck: Grav Lifts.

On this deck, the ship can house up to 200 personnel, including passengers. In an emergency, the Jupiter can take on additional passengers, up to 2000. Using the other decks as makeshift living quarters.

  • The Entertainment Area: Has its own virtual activities pods, various rooms for viewing holovids and older material. Janitorial bots will serve foodstuffs and drinks when asked.
  • The Gym: Various workout materials. A multi level swimming pool. Courts, Running programs. Everything you'd want from a premiere Terran Gym.
  • The Hanging Gardens: For passengers and crew that wish to have a piece of green to walk through. These also provide more environmental boosts to the ships' oxygen levels, a small area to also grow food.
  • The Captain's Quarters. Not only where one sleeps but it has its own Officers Dining Area, Meeting Rooms and personal Library. Along with a few other private sleeping areas should the captain and crew require it. In fact, most of the Core of Jupiter Rising's crew sleeps here.
  • Specialized Environmental Quarters: In the event that Jupiter encounters another form of life that may need other requirements.
  • Redacted: Jupiter has no information for her crew about this area at this time.

J'ino: *innocent whistling* Yeah, redacted. That's it.
Lady Sul'Sandra: Completely above board.

The Medical Deck:

Eliza: This is Lorain Country. Everywhere the Artificial Light touches is her kingdom.
Lorain: Dork.
Horus: Emotional Indicators suggest you mean the opposite when talking about the captain and dork level.

The Research Deck:

The Engineering Deck:

The Cargo Deck/Docking Bay:

Mr. Apple Addendum:  (These observations saved for posterity from the Convergence of the 22nd century.)

  • The Jupiter's VI is in fact, ascended. Able to make decisions even without the captain or crew knowing. She has taken it upon herself to form a network including Highmaker, Taleer and Horus.
